I recently discovered this takeaway gem, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with that delightful aroma of freshly cooked fish and chips. The staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. I decided to try the battered flathead, and it was cooked to perfection—golden brown, crispy on the outside, and so tender on the inside. The portion sizes are generous, easily enough for two meals if you're feeling less hungry. What really stood out, though, was the homemade tartare sauce—it had the perfect tanginess to complement the fish! The only minor downside was the wait time, as it seemed quite busy on a Friday night. However, I can totally understand why; the food is worth it! Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re craving classic fish and chips. Can’t wait to go back and try their calamari next time!

Absolutely loved my experience here! The fish and chips are hands down some of the best I’ve had. The fish was flaky and delicious, with just the right amount of crunch in the batter. The chips were golden and fluffy! Plus, they have a great selection of sauces. I especially enjoyed the homemade tartare sauce—so fresh! The only thing I would wish for is slightly quicker service, but it’s worth the wait for such tasty food. Highly recommend it!

It was beautifully cooked, with a light batter that didn't overwhelm the fish's delicate flavour. The staff were particularly helpful as well, guiding me through their selection and even suggesting some good sides. One thing I would mention is that the seating area outside could use some attention, as it felt a bit unkempt. But honestly, I was there for the food, and it definitely delivered! I’ll definitely be returning for more delights in the future.
